Paolo Rubatto is the founder of Start Capital, a London-based early-stage investment firm that invests globally. In addition, he is a co-founder and general partner at Beyond Ventures and an advisor at ScalingLab. Paolo has invested in and advised numerous technology and healthcare startups. He focuses on investments in marketplaces, mobile, social, and digital media, SaaS/PaaS, and life sciences. He started his career as an entrepreneur, being one of the pioneers in the wireless internet sector in France, where he was the first to integrate WiFi technology in real estate developments. Paolo Rubatto also worked as a consultant for BigDNA Ltd/Imprimatur Capital and additionally worked at Cushman and Wakefield as a consultant for the EMEA Cross-border investments team. Paolo Rubatto has a BA in International Business Administration from the American University of Paris, an MBA in Entrepreneurship/Finance from London Business School, and participated in an International Exchange Program in Business Administration at NYU Stern School of Business.
